HELLO I’M NEW FOLIO ALBUM
Base and Pages of Folio Album
Tip: For the base, pages and photo mats of your Folio Album use white cardstock.
Below is a tutorial of where I got the idea to do the folio album. I followed the first half of the video for the sizing and instructions, I didn’t want to make the entire folio as it would have become to bulky once the photo’s were attached but the beautiful thing about sharing ideas is that you can make your project unique to you.
For the Decorating of your album you need:
Adhere double-sided tape around the front cover – leave a border of .25mm around the page.
Remove the tape and sprinkle the glitter onto the tape in order to create a boarder for the next layer.
Glue a piece of cardboard –16x22cm – to create the first layer
Glue a piece of C107 004 onto cardboard
Cut another piece of the cardboard 13x20cm.
Punch boarder strips and adhere onto the foam board before the last layer.
For the top layer use a piece of C107 008 – 14x20cm
Decorate the layers with the Oval Resin Frame, Spoon Embellishment, Flowers, Dummy, Bling and Sequence for the wheels of train die-cut piece.
Adhere the string of bling onto the edges of spoon with glossy accents and let dry
Follow the instructions in the tutorial to create pockets, tags and the waterfall page.
First left Page:
For the background of the front cover page and the second pocket: C107 001
First and bottom pockets: C107 007
I fussy cut the little animals from C107 002 and glued them onto the banner images.
For the 3 Tags I used C107 008, cut lace borders and decorated it with 3 different size bows and sequences.
For the background I used the C107 001 again and cover the tag with C107 008 to match the tags on the left side. I used a die to cut the window and use a sticker from ST107 001 for the sentiment at the bottom. For finishing touches I used pink bows and another little fussy cut animal from C107 002
3rd and 4th Pages:
I covered both the pages with C107 003 and decorated the photo mats with a corner punch, a fussy cut banner from C107 007 and another animal from C107 002
The two tags are covered with the Star Gazing side of C107 004
5th and 6th Pages
Cover the left hand with Star Gazing C107 004 and decorate with a banner on top.
I used a die cut frame and adhered a sentiment Sticker from ST107 001
The right hand page is covered with C107 004 and the pocket with C107 004 Star Gazing to match the left hand page. The tags are decorated with fussy cut Animals from C107 006 Little Blessings, Border punch and a little praying die-cut image.
This page is covered with the C107 004 Star Gazing to match the adjacent waterfall page and decorated with die-cut banner and a die-cut from the FabScraps Carders Pack: MC107001A.
The background is covered with C107 004 Star Gazing and the same with every second page of the waterfall.
To match the Star Gazing dotted paper I use the C107 001 Bundle of Joy for the 3rd and 5th waterfall pages.
The inside of each waterfall page are decorated with fussy cut banners from C107 004 Bunny Kisses. Create a frame around the pages and adhere a little die-cut on each page from the Carders Pack: MC107001A as well as images from C107 006. Glue the magnets as per instructions behind the flap and the first page of waterfall.
Cover this page again with C107 004 Star Gazing and decorate the photo mats with die-cut corners. The two tags are covered with pieces from theC107 004 Star Gazing paper and stamped with a journaling stamp at the back.
Cover page with the C107 008 Isn’t She Lovely paper and decorate the photo mat with pink card stock die-cut corners and another medium size bow with a sequence.
The right hand page is covered with C107 004 and the photo mats with pink die-cut corners and a sticker from the ST 107 001 sticker sheet.
Page 10 and 11:
Both these pages are covered with the C107 001 and the same window frame card as on 2nd page. For the inside of window frame card I used another piece of C107 001 and an image from the Carders Pack: MC107001A.
Page 11 and 12:
Cover page 11 with C107 008 and decorate with a heart die-cut with perforated journaling lines. At the bottom of this page I used a train die-cut image with sequences for the wheels.
Cut the ‘We made a wish and you came true’ sentiment, elephant and stars from C107 003. Use a doily die-cut as base for the sentiment and glue the stars as per my picture. Glue a little banner die-cut on top of this page with bling on the ribbons.
For the closing page:
Cover the page with C107 001, decorate with fussy cut banner and use Gesso with Stencil DS093. I sprinkled the wet Gesso with Glitter and when its dried I colored the little feet with pink Perfect Pearls.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial on the C107 Collection from FabScraps!
